Nov 7, 2018 Over the last ten years, the heavy hitters in Mahindra’s range have forged an ironclad reputation for bulletproof toughness and durability. This starts with design. It comes from incorporating quality steel in every Mahindra Tractors’ DNA. In fact, Steel has been the DNA of Mahindra since the company started in 1945 as a Steel Trading Company. Our Steel Trading Group (STG) primarily focuses on import of flat steel products. It is one of the leading suppliers of steel to the automotive industries in India, sourcing the bulk of its steel from mills in Japan, South Korea and Taiwan. More information on Mahindra Steel is available here Quality steel is the founding pillar behind Mahindra’s Tractor strength and durability. It creates strong weighty easy access platforms for farm work, allowing better traction in multiple soil conditions, while also providing a solid operating platform in conjunction with good sized wheel equipment for a more stable operation in hilly conditions. A strong weighty platform in conjunction with good hydraulics also provides better lift capacity on front end self-level loaders and three-point linkage. The Mahindra 8000 series 80 HP tractor has been the bedrock of the Mahindra Australia tractor range since 2012. Selling over 500 units in Australia it has been well regarded for its solid and durable no-nonsense maintenance and reputation for being able to handle the tough stuff. The factory has worked on improving the ergonomics of the 8000/9000 series by a total sheet metal re-design, while keeping the original engine, transmission and hydraulics of the original 8000 series tractor. With the latest 80 and 92hp offerings, Mahindra has kept all the things its customers loved about the Utility Tractor range like quality steel, good sized wheel equipment and hydraulics, solid planetary 4x4 reduction but added a few notable improvements. The New Mahindra 7580 [80hp] and 7590 [92] are over 3.6 tonne in Tractor weight with 12.4x24 Fronts and 18.4x30 Rears, and are Ideal for primary and secondary tillage, livestock operations, crop protection, haulage and loader applications and a myriad of other field applications. At the heart of both machines is a turbocharged intercooled 4 cylinder in-line diesel designed for three things; reliability, fuel efficiency and a big flat torque curve, reaching 326 Nm on the 7590. Both models feature twin remotes, two-speed PTOs [540/1000 rpm] and even heavier builds for greater traction and longevity, and best of all, they exemplify the most famous Mahindra traits - uncomplicated design and operation, ruggedness and versatility in any situation, but most importantly bullet proof no nonsense simplicity. Mahindra became the #1 selling tractor in the world in 2010 by providing consumers with value-packed, high-quality tractors. Mahindra is the only tractor manufacturer in the world to win both the Deming Application Prize and the coveted Japan Quality Medal for excellence in Total Quality Management, awarded by the Deming Prize Committee care of the Union of Japanese Scientists. Mahindra’s professional-grade tractors are built with heavy-duty components that allow them to outperform other tractors in their class and are designed to provide consumers with the ability to push more, pull more and lift more, so they can do more, with less time. The new Mahindra 7580 and 7590 are assembled in Brisbane and are available now at over 40 dealers nationwide.

The first generation of Mahindra Max small tractors set a new standard in terms of longevity, performance, versatility and ease-of-use, and now this latest Mahindra eMax25s range is set to again shift the bar for tractor performance and durability in the small tractor market. The core value of the eMax is that it is an all steel design and not a beefed-up rider mower – it’s a scaled-down tractor designed to work hard, and do so for a long time, and not made of plastic and aluminium like the competition.
